The AL 9000 (not "AL9000L /black" with lower quality sensor) is a high-end digital breathalyser used to measure the concentration of alcohol in the breath. The tester is based on accurate and stable electrochemical sensor, so that  police accuracy is available to the  ordinary user. Sensor life is over three thousand  measurements, and  calibration is not necessary as often as in the case of lower grade breathalysers - the manufacturer recommends calibration every one thousand  measurements. The breathalyser records the total number of measurements so it is easier to determine when calibration is required. The AL 9000 also has an air flow control to ensure an adequate volume of the sample. 

The AL9000 is a high-end, digital breathalyser to measure blood alcohol concentration based on analysis of exhaled air. The AL9000 indicates the accuracy of the result to 5%, in a wide range of 0.00 to 2.00 mg/L.
