The Alkohit X500 breathalyzer measurements can be made by using a mouthpiece or a funnel-shaped cap. The device operates in both active and passive modes. The breathalyzer has an advanced system that controls the proper blowing of air into the device as well as a function to check the device’s readiness for measurements. Each user can customize the preferred time and force of the air blown into the device, language support and automatic turn-off time.

With the capability of 360° rotation and a unique and innovative method of fitting mouthpieces,  Alkohit ® models allow for comfortable measurement-taking. This solution increases safety in the event of any external factors that may cause the device to move while blowing air (a mouthpiece screws onto the device without harming the user).

Measurement results, including all relevant details of the person tested, can be saved by the operator to the device memory. The memory stores all essential data such as date, time, measurement results and even the temperature at which the measurement has been performed. The device may be used to cooperate with a wireless D100 thermal printer.
