These terms and conditions cover all purchases from www.ProBreathalyser.co.uk By buying from us you agree to comply with these terms.

Delivery

Breathalysers (alcohol detectors, alcotesters) are usually dispatched the same day or the next morning. If you require next day delivery you should make a note during purchase. Next day delivery costs £7 on standard orders and is available for orders placed before 10:00am. Free Delivery applies to UK mainland orders only. In case your ordered breathalyser is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option to order a different model or cancel your breathalyser order and receive a full refund. On orders from www.ProBreathalyser.co.uk , where your breathalyser is returned to us because of failed delivery, we reserve the right to charge for the return postage on your order. www.ProBreathalyser.co.uk will refund postage fees if the delivery will be not as ordered (different color, quantity or incomplete package) if it will be our fault.

If you are not happy with your ordered breathalyser you can return the breathalyser in its original and unused condition, along with the packaging, within 7 days and we will return your money back (after a £5.00 applicable administration fee, excluding postage fees) or change to a different breathalyser model (extra charges may apply). We can not accept returned breathalyser units that have been blown into unless faulty. This offer does not apply to units costing £300 or more. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Warranty Claims & Returns

For a warranty claim or any return you must contact us before sending the device to our office. All units should be returned in the original packaging and suitable protective wrapping such as bubble wrap and padded envelope. We can not take responsibility if delivered breathalysers will be damaged. All breathalysers are under warranty by the manufacturers for a certain period of time (shown in breathalyser description) from the date of purchase for devices bought from www.ProBreathalyser.co.uk only. The warranty does not cover accidental or incidental damage of any kind caused by misuse. If a warranty claim is valid, then in the first instance a repair will be carried out if possible, including a replacement sensor if found to be faulty. The sensor is specifically excluded from warranty claims if contaminated by food/smoke/nicotine or liquids of any kind. In addition, warranty claims as a result of damage caused by the incorrect removal/insertion of replaceable sensors are specifically excluded. All sensors have a finite life period in normal use and recalibration due to sensor life expiry is not covered by the warranty. Please be advised that semiconductor type sensor breathalysers have limitations and can not reciprocate the accuracy of a Home Office Approved UK Police unit. Low levels of alcohol do not always register on these units. If you require a unit registering low levels we recommend choosing a profesional breathalyser.

Calibration

All breathalyser units start to lose their accuracy after a period of time or approximate number of tests (depends on the breathalyser). Usually, manufacturers recommend recalibrating breathalysers after 6 months from the previous calibration.

Liability

Tech Trader Pro, Ltd. will not be liable for any loss incurred as a consequence of alcohol influence in any way. We will not be liable for any loss through misuse of our website, by unauthorised accessor alteration of data transmissions, corruption or destruciton of data, or any other losses incurred. Breathalyser should be used only as a screening device and may only give an indication of the possible presence of alcohol in the blood of the test subject. The exact concentration of alcohol in the blood of the test subject cannot be accurately determined by solely using a breathlayser. The correlation between breath alcohol content and blood alcohol content depends on many variables. www.ProBreathalyser.co.uk disclaims liability for incidental, special, or consequential damages of any nature. We make no warranties as to the accuracy of any articles or information on this site. You should always consult with a legal professional if in doubt. All of our breathalyser units, with the exception of the Drager series, are non-Home Office approved and therefore should be used as initial screening only. A home office approved calibrated unit, blood test or urine sample will be required if action is to be taken against an individual or employee for breach of contract or in the event of disciplinary action due to alcohol consumption. We do not offer advice or recommendations regarding disciplinary procedures against individuals suspected of alcohol abuse/intoxication in any way, and as such will not enter into any dialogue or written communications regarding such.
